Implementation

From September 1, 2017 MD project partners started the implementation of PBL based study programmes.

The programmes have been developed as part of Opens internal link in current windowWP4 and Opens internal link in current windowpromoted from Spring 2017 to prospect students.

The programmes have been designed within the university-autonomy-limiting Education Framework that acts - as of 2017 - as an impediment to change and innovation in higher education of Moldova.

John Reilly, external quality expert of the project, undertook a review of the Education Framework and provided recommendations on improving university autonomy settings.

It is expected that MD partners together with the project management will continue constructive discussions with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in autumn of 2017 and 2018 on how to enhance university autonomy for higher education sector.
